Wardrobe Consultant
Sydney

Your wardrobe is not the problem. What's in it is. Sydney wardrobe consultant Marina Arairo identifies what works, what doesn't, and rebuilds from there — in six weeks, privately, in person.

The Service

What a wardrobe consultant
actually does.

A wardrobe consultant reviews everything you own — clothing, shoes, bags, jewellery, accessories — and makes a professional assessment of what suits you, what doesn't, and what's missing. The goal is a wardrobe that functions as a system: every item works with other items, every item works with your body and colouring, and nothing is wasted.

Most women who seek a wardrobe consultant have the same experience: a full wardrobe and nothing to wear. Not because they don't own enough clothes. Because most of what they own doesn't quite work — wrong colour, wrong cut, wrong fit. These items pile up, taking space and creating noise, while the same three things get worn on rotation.

"The average woman wears 20% of her wardrobe 80% of the time. A wardrobe consultant identifies why — and fixes it."

Marina Arairo is a Sydney-based personal stylist and wardrobe consultant. Her wardrobe consultation is part of a full six-week Transformation Program that also covers colour analysis, body shape assessment, personal shopping, and mindset coaching.

The Difference

Why most wardrobe audits
don't hold.

A wardrobe audit done without colour analysis is guesswork. A consultant can tell you an item is the wrong shade of blue — but without knowing your colour season, they cannot tell you which shade of blue would be right. The audit produces a cleaner wardrobe, but not necessarily a more flattering one.

A wardrobe audit done without body shape assessment has the same problem. Knowing that a pair of trousers doesn't look quite right is obvious. Knowing exactly what cut, rise, and hem length would look right requires a proper body shape analysis first.

Marina starts with colour analysis and body shape assessment — establishing the precise rules for your wardrobe — before touching a single item. The audit that follows is not about minimalism for its own sake. It is about clarity: what, in your existing wardrobe, actually meets the standard? What doesn't? And what needs to be added?

The result holds because the rules are precise. You know exactly what works for you. Future shopping decisions become easy and, over time, automatic.

The Process

How Marina works
as your wardrobe consultant.

The wardrobe consultation sits within Marina's full Transformation Program. Every step leads into the next — the colour analysis informs the audit, the audit informs the shopping list, and the shopping trip delivers the finished capsule.

  1. Colour Analysis — Know Your Palette Before the wardrobe audit, Marina conducts a professional colour analysis using the fabric draping method. This identifies your colour season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter — and your specific sub-season) and establishes your exact colour palette: your neutrals, your accent colours, your metals, the shades that enhance your natural colouring and the shades that work against it. Every wardrobe decision from here is made against this palette.
  2. Body Shape Assessment — Know Your Silhouette Marina assesses your body shape and establishes the dressing principles specific to your silhouette — the cuts, necklines, waistlines, fabrics, and proportions that create balance and flattery for your figure. This becomes the second filter applied to every wardrobe item.
  3. Wardrobe Audit — The Edit With your colour palette and body shape principles established, Marina reviews your entire wardrobe — every item of clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories. Each item is assessed: does it suit your colour season? Does it suit your body shape? Does it fit your actual life? What stays, what goes, and why. Most clients are surprised at how much is usable — and how much has been quietly undermining their confidence.
  4. Personal Shopping — The Rebuild The audit produces a precise list of what's missing. Marina accompanies you on a personal shopping trip through Sydney — selecting clothing, shoes, lingerie, jewellery, and accessories that fill every identified gap, all within your colour palette and body shape principles. No impulse purchases. No hoping something might work. Every item chosen with certainty.

The consultation also includes: hair and nail consultation, posture and gait coaching, six private mindset sessions, moon cycle planning framework, and a transformation day — professional hair, nails, full look, and before and after photography.

All in six weeks. $1,499 AUD, everything included.

Common Questions

What women ask before
booking a wardrobe consultant.

"Is it just going to tell me to throw everything out?"

No. The wardrobe audit is not about minimalism or discarding for the sake of it. It is about honesty. Many clients discover they own more genuinely useful pieces than they realised — items that have been overlooked or buried under things that don't work. Marina's audit is precise: this stays, this goes, and here is exactly why. What you choose to keep or release is ultimately your decision.

"I've had a wardrobe edit before and nothing changed."

A wardrobe edit without colour analysis or body shape assessment removes items but doesn't establish a standard. You end up with fewer things that still don't quite work. Marina establishes the rules before touching a single item — so every decision in the audit is made against precise, personalised criteria. What replaces the removed items is equally precise. The change is visible and lasting.

"I'm not sure I'm ready to invest in this."

Most clients have spent more than $1,499 on clothing in the past twelve months. They just have very little to show for it. The program stops that spending pattern permanently. When you know your colour season and body shape, you stop buying things that don't work. Most clients find the program pays for itself within a year — not in savings on the program, but in purchases they don't make.

"Does this include shopping for me?"

Yes. A personal shopping trip through Sydney is included in the program. Once the wardrobe audit is complete and the gaps are identified, Marina accompanies you to select everything needed — clothing, shoes, lingerie, jewellery, and accessories. Every purchase is made within your colour palette and body shape principles. Nothing is left to chance.
